Motocaddy helps ‘stars of tomorrow’ play their best

Motocaddy, the world's top-selling trolley brand, has been announced as the ‘Official Electric Trolley’ of the PGA EuroPro Tour for the fourteenth consecutive season. The announcement comes at the beginning of the first event of the season at Brocket Hall and the renewed partnership will see Motocaddy’s top-selling M1 Lithium electric trolley presented to the winner of all 15 events on this season’s Tour.

Motocaddy will continue to provide support at every tournament on the 2019 schedule, which features on a two-hour highlights package on Sky Sports and broadcast worldwide on several networks including DAZN and Eleven Sports.

“We’re excited to be working with Motocaddy once again and extremely proud to have a brand that's recognised as the industry leader,” said PGA EuroPro Tour CEO, Daniel Godding. "The impressive new M1 Lithium is a brilliant piece of kit and a prize that will really help players throughout their season,” he added.

Oliver Churcher, Marketing Manager at Motocaddy added: "Our association with the PGA EuroPro Tour is now into its fourteenth consecutive year. It is our most important partnership and one that we are immensely proud of. The standard of play is unbelievable and it’s an honour to see so many PGA EuroPro Tour players choosing to using Motocaddy trolleys to help them perform to their best.

"Our brand ethos is to enhance the game for golfers who use our products – whether that be through their enjoyment, health, performance or all of the above. This ties in perfectly with the PGA EuroPro Tour as it gives us the opportunity to work with the up and coming ‘stars of tomorrow’ to help them play their best.”

PGA EuroPro Tour players will compete for over £1 million of prize money in 2019, with the top five golfers at the end of the season awarded a category on the 2020 Challenge Tour. Prestigious golfing venues such as Spey Valley in the Scottish Highlands and Brocket Hall, formerly home to two Prime Ministers will play hosts with the Tour Championship taking place in October.

The Motocaddy M1 is the easiest-to-use compact electric trolley in the world and features a unique ‘SlimFold’ design with space-saving inverting wheels for a significantly reduced folded footprint - perfect for easy storage and transportation. Other standout features include a high-resolution LCD colour screen; nine speed settings; a soft-touch ergonomic handle, fully adjustable to any height by hand; a whisper-quiet 230W motor; plus Motocaddy’s exclusive EASILOCK bag-to-trolley connection system, which removes the need for a lower bag strap. It also features a new style oversize frame to offer unprecedented handle stability.

The M1 is also powered by a next-generation 28V high power system, making it twice as powerful as other compact electric trolleys on the market. The super-light Lithium batteries are also a third smaller than those supplied by the nearest competitor.
